This app has been awesome! I love being able to note, track and share the ways I see God moving, and to be encouraged by what others are sharing as well. We all complain about how terrible social media can be for us, and this hopeful, Christ-centered alternative is such an answered prayer!

The app I needed!
I had been keeping just a note on my phone of the different ways I saw God moving and answering prayers. I am so glad to finally have a place to log them in and share with the different people in my life. Visibility to God’s movement in your life and seeing it in other people’s lives is SO encouraging!

An uplifting destination for meaning and purpose
Incredible app I look forward to opening in pursuit of hope, catharsis, greater understanding, and celebration of God’s plan. I love the ability to easily incorporate Bible verses and photos as well as create different tribes for selective sharing. The most user friendly app I have ever used.

Finally!
This is such a cool app and long overdue for communities of faith! For thousands of years, tribes have encouraged one another with “ebenezers” (stone monuments) to memorialize how God was with them in good times and bad. I’m certain the Lord will bless all who use this wonderful new app!

Greatest App

More realistic way to journal
I’ve always tried to journal my prayers, but never stayed consistent. This app makes it MUCH easier to document my prayers and what God is doing in my life. I’ve also enjoyed that it’s a way to connect with friends, family, and church community — I’m a lot more consistent praying for them because I can see their stones too!

The better social media alternative
We don’t celebrate enough. Here’s to hope-scrolling over doom-scrolling. In 1 Samuel, Samuel placed an Ebenezer — a “stone of help,” a physical reminder of God’s faithfulness. Living Stones helps us celebrate.

Where should I get started once I download the app?
Getting started is easy! Create/join some Tribes (the groups you do life with), place some stones (your God-moments), and begin building a daily habit of recording and reflecting on how God is moving in your life and community!
What devices support the Living Stones app?

What are Stones?
Stones are the moments of encounter with God that you memorialize in the app. The term “Stone” is a reference to the Old Testament practice of building “Ebenezers” — literal stacks of stones that memorialized a place where God provided for His people.
What are Tribes?
Tribes are the groups of people you do life with — friends, family, your small group, etc. Creating and joining Tribes lets you share your Stones with the people you love and do life with.
What is "hope-scrolling"?
“Hope-Scrolling” is a movement away from spending our screen time on things that de-form us (“doom-scrolling”), towards things that bring attention, hope, and connection. Living Stones is an app built to embody and promote this movement.
